Stories are watched as a sequence. Someone opens the first frame, decides in a moment, and taps forward or away. A single long clip rarely survives that rhythm, but a few short beats, each with one job, fit it naturally.
Plan the series before you render. Two or three beats usually do more than one clip trying to do everything: an opening look, a middle movement, a closing frame. Phone screens put buttons and captions over the top and bottom of a story. Frame for that.
- Keep the face in the middle third, clear of the top and bottom bands.

- Use a plain background behind the head so the person stands out at small size.
- Use the same framing in every reference photo so the beats cut together.
