Why a 16:9 photo must be planned for a tall frame
A landscape photo holds far more sideways space than the output can keep. The studio renders vertical clips, so the width you would use for a pan is the first thing to disappear.
The fix is planning, not hope. Decide before you upload which band of the photo is the story: the face and shoulders for a portrait, the table and two hands for a dinner scene. Then describe only that band in the prompt. Anything outside that band is left for the model to guess.

Protect the frame before you upload
Five habits that keep the subject inside the tall band.
- Keep the subject within the middle third of the width, so a tall crop still holds it.
- Avoid a horizon line that slices through the subject; a slight tilt of the camera is enough.
- Place the eyes, hands or main object above the centre line, where the tall column is strongest.
