Why shine flickers, and how to steady it
A glossy highlight is a small, bright patch that has to stay in the same place from frame to frame. The model redraws it each time, and when the light direction or the pose shifts, the highlight jumps, grows or fades. That jumping is what viewers read as flicker, even when the skin underneath looks right.
