Write the ending first
Most loops fail at the seam. The clip starts with the subject still, moves away and finishes somewhere else, so the replay looks like a cut. The fix is to decide the closing pose before anything else, then describe a movement that carries the subject out of it and back again.
Three shapes work well inside a single take. A breathing loop, where the chest rises and settles while the head barely moves. A glance loop, where the eyes leave the lens and return. A pendulum loop, where a strand of hair or a fabric hem swings out and comes back. Each one starts and ends in the same pose, so the seam hides itself.
