Why a portrait makes the strongest first clip
A portrait gives the model the most reliable material it can get: a face it can read, eyes it can follow and a clear edge between the person and the background. Motion then lands where it matters most, in the eyelids, the slight turn of the chin and the way hair settles, instead of being spread across a busy scene.
